To become an SCGA member, a golfer must first join either a Golf Course Facility (Type 1) or Affiliate (Type 2) SCGA member club.
An SCGA Golf Course Facility can be any type of couse, such as private, semi-private, public or military. As an SCGA golf course member you are eligible for all SCGA member benefits, in addition to the benefits offered by your club. Club fees vary and are determined by each club. For more information about a Golf Course Facility club membership, contact the club directly.
An SCGA Affiliate Club can often be found through places of employment or social groups. An affiliate club is not tied to a particular golf course facility but provides golfers the opportunity to join and enjoy the services offered by the SCGA. As an Affiliate Club member, you are eligible for all SCGA member benefits, in addition to any benefits your Affiliate Club offers. Club fees vary and are determined by each member club, so the SCGA recommends you find an Affiliate Club in your area and contact them directly to learn about its rates. Golfers may join an existing club or choose to form their own SCGA Affiliate Club.
