eClubhouse is an optional service for clubs which allows an opportunity for member club to have a central location to communicate with their members, share photos, register for membership as well as tournaments and many more features.
Online File Maintenance
GHINclub.net is a club officials website to perform member maintenance through any web browser (add new members, score corrections, post scores, etc.). This password protected area allows the freedom and convenience for club officials to perform these tasks anywhere they have access to the internet.
Tournament Module
The Tournament Pairing Program, TPP, is a fully integrated tournament module with the handicap system. However, TPP can run without the handicap software being installed on the same computer. Features include standard and customizable reports and scorecards, option for real time scoring on video displays, create and send html reports to web server, multiple formats, multiple sets of flights and tees for pairings and scoring of players and/or teams, proximity markers, hole location sheets, and a full help menu.
Club Delegate Program
The SCGA Club Delegate has an important role as a communicator and supporter of the
SCGA. Their involvement helps to promote the game of golf in Southern California at their home golf club. Delegates are updated on a regular basis on all SCGA activities to ensure Member Clubs receive the full benefits of SCGA membership services. We ask the delegate in turn keeps their club members and officers up-to-date on any important material that is sent.
Affiliate Team Championship
The championship is open to two-person teams, with both players members of an SCGA Affiliate Club (not necessarily the same club), and each having active current indexes not exceeding 24.4 as of the date of registration. Both players must be 18 years or older as of August 16, 2010. Up to four teams (or 8 players) from one Affiliate Club may enter.
Golf Course Member Benefits
The GHIN Handicap Program (GHP) provides the ability for golfers to post their score at the course played, view their trend handicap and current file of scores. Administrative services allow the handicap chair ability to perform file maintenance for the members (add new members, score corrections, post scores, run reports, etc.) at the golf course facility.

Individual Member Benefits
Semi Monthly Handicap IndexYour Handicap Index is calculated on the 1st and 15th of each month. All scores and file maintenance that has been transmitted by 9:00 pm the day prior to a revision will be included in the Handicap Index calculation. The Handicap Index is then used at the golf course facility to determine your course handicap based on the tees being played that day.
Receive Your Index Via Email
By registering your email address with the SCGA, you will receive your new index information via eRevision on the morning of the 1st and the 15th of each month.
Golfer Statistics Package
The eGolfer program is a personal account the golfer sets up to organize favorite courses, post scores, keep track of personal golf stats, look for players or events in their area, receive club newsletter and much more.
eCommunications
Individuals can sign up to receive information from selected vendors on golf specials, travel packages and other items as well as golf news.
Member Outings
SCGA Member Outings offer SCGA members the opportunity to take advantage of an SCGA championship-quality event in a noncompetitive environment. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of golf at high-end public courses as well as select private clubs.
Hole In One Certificate
Submit your hole-in-one to receive an SCGA certificate and haveyour acerecognized online.
Online Score Posting
If authorized by your club, golfers can post scores online via the SCGA website or through mobile phones which utilize Smartphone technologies.
Join the SCGA
To become an SCGA member, golfers must first join either a Golf Course Facility (Type 1) or Affiliate (Type 2) SCGA member club.
An SCGA golf course facility can be any type of course such as private, semi-private, public or military.As an SCGA golf course facility member, you are eligible for all SCGA member benefits in addition to the benefits offered by your club. Club fees vary and are determined by each member club. For more information about a golf course club membership, contact the club that you are interested in joining.
An SCGA affiliate club can often be found through places of employment or social groups. An affiliate club is not tied to a particular golf course facility but provides golfers the opportunity to join and enjoy the services offered by the SCGA. As an affiliate club member, you are eligible for all SCGA member benefits in addition to any benefits your Affiliate Club offers. Club fees vary and are determined by each member club.We recommend you find an affiliate club in your area and contact them to learn about their rates. Golfers may join an existing club or choose to form their own SCGA affiliate club to become a member.

Have Your Club Join the SCGA
Golf Course FacilitiesTo form a new club, return a completed membership application to the SCGA office, along with a copy of the clubs bylaws (a sample set of bylaws is available), signed membership statement and a nonrefundable check of $100.
Once the proper paperwork has been received and reviewed by the handicap and membership department the information will be forwarded on to the course rating department to schedule a rating and measurement of the golf course.
Once the proper paperwork has been received and reviewed by the handicap and membership department an orientation meeting will be scheduled with the club to review information about handicap procedures and policies, tournament information and details about SCGA club membership.
A minimum of 10 new member applications must be submitted before the club can be approved for SCGA membership. Applications will be provided at the orientation. Upon completion of these steps, the SCGA Membership Committee will meet to recommend the club be admitted into the SCGA.
Short Course Program
The SCGA Short Course Program is an opportunity for golf courses measuring less then 3,000 yards for 18 holes, or 1,500 yards for nine holes, to obtain an official short course rating and handicap system. The program is provided complimentary by SCGA and allows local handicap calculation for members of the club.
